The Great Exchange
Our annual Girls’ Night In is our invitation to you to come and enjoy a relaxed evening together chatting over a glass of wine or a soft drink, connecting with other women in the community.
This year our optional activity will be a fashion swap - an opportunity to refresh your wardrobe!
When: Saturday 15 March from 7.30-9.30pm
Where: Bellbird Primary School, Sawston CB22 3GB
How It Works
There is no need to book, just turn up, the event is free
No need to donate to participate—everyone is welcome to browse and take home some fresh finds
If donating, bring up to 10 clean, gently-used women’s clothing items or accessories that you would be happy to give to a participant
Donations will be accepted on the day from 7.30, and you’ll be able to hunt for new treasures once everything has been placed on the racks; changing areas and mirrors provided
You may take away your items at the end of the evening if they don’t find a new home; any unclaimed items will be donated to a local charity.
You can also visit our visible mending and upcycling corner, where you’ll discover creative ways to repair and revive well-loved garments, giving them new life instead of discarding them.
More Than Just a Swap
In addition to the clothing exchange, we invite you to pause mid way through the evening and reflect on
The Great Exchange that Jesus offers through a short, thought-provoking talk and a personal story of faith.
All are welcome, whether you are invited by a Christ Church friend, or coming along to something for the first time. Come to refresh your wardrobe or just your spirit - we’d love to see you there!
