Tim Chapman- Tim spent 6 years as a soldier before training for Ministry. After beginning at All Saints Little Shelford as an assistant minister, in 2006 he helped to start Christ Church South Cambs in Sawston.
He enjoys outdoor sports and regular games of squash. Enjoys reading biographies of mountaineers and offshore sailors, and good novels. Tim is married to Lucy Chapman. Lucy is an engineer by training and is now involved in ministry among women at CCSC. They have 3 children.
Ben Grimshaw - lives in Whittlesford and works at a small biotechnology company. Married to Alyce and they have two young children, Ezra and Keziah. Ben and the family have been part of CCSC since 2014, and Ben was appointed an elder in Autumn 2016. Ben enjoys cycling (both commuting and for fun!), and is a keen supporter of Liverpool FC, along with the rest of his family.
Andrew Buchanan - originally from Northern Ireland, Andrew now lives in Sawston with his family and works locally for a pharmaceutical company. He has been part of Christ Church South Cambs since we began in 2006. He plays badminton and hunts geocaches to relax.
Louise Silk began as our youth worker in 2013 and is passionate about teaching young people about God in the bible. When she's not busy doing that she is looking after her six children. Nick and Louise have been married since 2004 and love spending time outdoors and eating good food. On the side we renovate houses (slowly) and support our local kebab van.
Alyce Grimshaw (assistant youth worker) - is mother to two lovely children Ezra and Keziah, and spends a lot of her time going to baby groups and having play dates! Alyce is originally from Huddersfield, went to University in Manchester, where she met and married Ben and they have been in South Cambs since 2013. Alyce loves musicals, watching box sets and spending time with good friends.
Florence Menzies divides her time between pastoral ministry, and administration. She has lived in Sawston since 2001. Before joining the CCSC staff, she was a teacher at a nearby secondary school.
The whole church family is thoroughly involved in keeping our church running. On any given Sunday, 10-15 of us will be serving in some way – from teaching the children, to leading music, to serving coffee. During the week, many more get involved in small groups and informal support for each other and those around us.
